As winters in the region can be extremely cold, with temperatures dropping as low as -30\u00b0C (-22\u00b0F), making an efficient heating system essential for producing warm concrete. After operating the new plant for some time, the company began looking for a more sustainable and cost-effective way to operate their plant, especially during the winter season.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-744f97d9b2703e1c7e799a2f79ef7cfc\">Solution: Integrated District Heating with TURBOMATIC MAX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>In collaboration with Polarmatic experts, and after careful evaluation, Byggbetong decided to connect their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polarmatic.com\/fr\/solutions\/solutions-de-chauffage-turbomatic\/turbomatic-unite-denergie-thermique\/maxturbomatic-max\/\">TURBOMATIC MAX<\/a> heating system to the district heating network. This upgrade enables them to use district heating to produce warm water for their production process when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the TURBOMATIC MAX model installed, they can continue heating the aggregates using TURBOgas produced by TURBOMATIC, while the integrated 6000-liter insulated hot water storage tank is heated with district heating. This feature has made a real difference for Byggbetong as well, enabling them to operate their system more efficiently and flexibly based on production needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, they produce hot water for their operations using the TURBOMATIC system powered by district heating, while still retaining the ability to heat aggregates using the TURBOgas, as originally specified. This smart upgrade has not only improved the efficiency of their heating process but also marked a significant step towards reducing their overall environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, the results of the upgrade have been impressive.
